Follow the steps below to configure the DNP CX-D80 printer and CardExchange Producer to print on the front side of the card while encoding the magnetic stripe on the back.

Step 1: Disable Double-Sided Printing

1. Open the DNP CX-D80 printer properties.
2. Navigate to the Print tab.
3. Uncheck Print on both sides.

Step 2: Open Card Designer

1. Open CardExchange Producer.
2. Select the card template you want to use.
3. Go to the Configuration tab.
4. Select Card Designer.

Step 3: Configure the Back Layout

1. In Card Designer, select Back Layout.
2. Navigate to the Page Layout tab.

Step 4: Adjust the Back Layout Settings

In the Page Layout tab:

1. Uncheck Printable.
2. Enable Backside.
3. Enable Magnetic Stripe.

These settings configure the back layout for magnetic stripe encoding without printing on the back of the card.

Test the Configuration

After applying the settings, try printing a card and encoding its magnetic stripe. Verify that the card prints on the front only and that the magnetic stripe is encoded successfully.
