Licensed CardExchange becomes Demo version

Licensed CardExchange becomes Demo version

CardExchange license can ONLY be applied and activated to a single piece of hardware at a time.
Each license has 4 reactivations. meaning you can reactivate or transfer your license to another computer 4 times.

Licensed CardExchange becomes Demo version happen due to following reasons:
1. Your license has been transferred to a different hardware/computer.
Since our license is one is to one basis. Once transferred, The previous computer with CardExchange software loses it's license and is transferred to the other computer.
If you need 2 Hardware/Computer with CardExchange. You need 2 CardExchange licenses.

2. Changing of Network port
CardExchange uses Machine-ID to identify a certain Hardware/Computer uniquely.
Machine-ID is generated through Mac address of Network ports, Hard Disk Drives (HDD) and USB Dongle.
By default, Machine-ID is based on Mac address of Network ports.

Most modern computers have 2 network ports so its possible the license is bouncing between two network ports on the same machine.

To prevent this we recommend using the “4- MachineID Exchange Utility (Alternative - HDD based)
https://support.ccs.com.ph/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-activate-cardexchange-using-hdd-as-machine-id

or

Use "USB Dongle"
https://support.ccs.com.ph/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-activate-cardexchange-license-with-dongle

This should stop any issues related to the PC's MAC address from changing.

3. Reformat of Computer OS
To prevent using your 4 reactivations. You can back up your iserv file before reformat.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\CardExchange\License
This is where your license is stored.
After format, Install CardExchange software and paste your iserv file to the same path above.
