How to Activate a CardExchange License Using a USB Dongle
Follow the steps below to activate your CardExchange license using a USB dongle.
Step 1: Connect the USB Dongle
Plug the USB Dongle into an available USB port on the computer.
Step 2: Install the Sentinel Driver
Install Sentinel System Driver Installer 7.6.0.msi on the computer.
Step 3: Open the Machine ID Exchange Utility
Open MachineIDExchange.exe.
The application will display the Machine ID.
Note: Make sure that the Machine ID starts with 80-.Step 4: Activate the License Online
Go to the CardExchange online product activation page and activate your license.
Step 5: Import the License File
After completing the online activation, open the CardExchange Solutions Activation window.
Select Advanced, then click Browse and select the .lic license file downloaded from the CardExchange website.
Step 6: Activate the License
Click Activate to complete the license activation process.
Important
Keep the USB dongle connected to the computer while using the CardExchange license.
