How to fix if the Topaz is not working in Microsoft word

How to connect topaz signature pad to microsoft word

If your Topaz Signature Pad is not working in Microsoft Word after installing SigPlus and the Microsoft Office plug-ins, the installed SigPlus version may need to be checked.

Follow the steps below to install SigPlus 64-bit.

Step 1: Download SigPlus 64-bit

  1. Visit the Topaz Systems software download page:

    Electronic Signature Software - Topaz Systems

  2. Locate the Microsoft Office plug-ins section.
  3. Find and select SigPlus 64-bit.
  4. Download the installer.


Step 2: Run the Installer

  1. Open your Downloads folder.
  2. Locate and run sigplus64.exe.

Step 3: Select Your Signature Pad Model

  1. When the installation wizard opens, click Next.
  2. Select your Topaz Signature Pad model from the available options.
  3. Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Install SigPlus

  1. Click Install to begin the installation.
  2. Wait for the installation to complete.
  3. Click Finish to close the installer.


Step 5: Test the Signature Pad in Microsoft Word

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Go to the Add-ins tab or menu.
  3. Click the pencil icon to open the Topaz signature interface.
  4. Sign using your Topaz Signature Pad.
  5. Click Done to complete the signature capture.



Troubleshooting

If the Topaz Signature Pad still does not work:

  • Confirm that SigPlus was installed successfully.
  • Make sure you selected the correct Topaz Signature Pad model during installation.
  • Restart Microsoft Word and test the signature pad again.
