How to download data from Guard patrol device to Patrol management system

This guide explains how to download patrol records from a registered guard patrol device to the Patrol Management System. Once the data has been downloaded, you can review the records and generate reports to monitor guard patrol activities.

Step 1: Connect the Guard Patrol Device

  1. Connect the registered guard patrol reader to your PC.

  2. Make sure the reader has been registered in the Patrol Management System.

Note: If you have not registered the reader yet, refer to the guide on how to register the WM-5000V4S and WM-5000V5 devices in the Patrol Management System.

Step 2: Download the Patrol Data

  1. Open the Patrol Management System.

  2. Click Basic Operations.

  3. Click Read Data.

  4. Wait for the system to retrieve the patrol records from the connected device.



Step 3: View the Patrol Records

  1. Navigate to History Data.

  2. Set the appropriate inquiry criteria to filter the records you want to view.

  3. Click Inquire to display the matching patrol records.

Make sure your inquiry criteria are correct so the system displays the intended records.

     

Step 4: Generate and Review Patrol Reports

The Patrol Management System provides reports to help you review guard patrol activities.

Patrol Report

The Patrol Report provides information about patrol attendance and activity. Use it to check whether guards completed their assigned patrols on time and visited the required checkpoints.

     

Statistics

The Statistics section displays a graphical representation of guard arrival times and missed patrol visits. This helps you identify possible delays or missed checkpoints.

Completion

Your patrol data should now be available in the Patrol Management System for review and reporting.
