White margin around the edge of the printout

White margins around the edges of printed cards are normal when using a Direct-to-Card (DTC) printer.

If you require edge-to-edge printing with no visible white borders, consider using a Retransfer printer as an alternative.



How to Minimize White Margins

Follow these steps to adjust the image position and reduce the white margins on your printed cards.

  1. Open the Generation Tool. Run the tool as an administrator.

  2. Go to the Setup tab. Locate the Horizontal Image Position Adjust and Vertical Image Position Adjust settings.

  3. Adjust the image position values. Increase or decrease the current values by 100 at a time.

  4. Print a test card. Check the results after each adjustment.

  5. Repeat if necessary. Continue adjusting the values until the white margins are reduced to an acceptable level.

Note: Adjusting the image position can help minimize white margins, but it may not completely eliminate them when using a Direct-to-Card printer.
