Standard PVC Card to Direct to card printers

Types of PVC Card:
  1. Glossy
  2. Glossy with Card Adhesive back
  3. Rewriteable
  4. Semi Matte
  5. Matte
  6. Sticky
Not recommended to Direct to card printers:
  1. Matte Cards - This card is not advisable to Direct to card printers since matte finish can Damage the direct to card printhead and can cause card jam.
  2. Sticky Cards - This card is dedicated for Inkjet Printers. This card is not advisable to Direct to card printers since it can Damage the direct to card printhead, can cause card jam, stick on to printer rollers and damage it and also cause ribbon cut.
Use of this 2 type of cards may result to Void of Warranty.

Recommended type of cards: 

1. Glossy Card
Glossy card has a smooth finish and shines when reflected by light.
This is the standard card used on Direct to card printers.



2. Glossy with card adhesive back
This is a type of card that you can print and stick it to other cards that can't be printed like Clamshell cards.

3. Rewriteable
This type of card is usually used for Visitors. You can print monochrome layout without using any printer ribbon and erase it using Magicard Rewriteable technology. This card can be printed and erased upto 50 times.

4. Semi Matte
Unlike Matte cards with matte finish. Semi matte card dont have very rough surface and can be used to print on Direct to card printers.
