Direct Print Portrait: Half-Card Printout

Troubleshooting Guide

Issue: When printing directly to a Magicard ID printer, the card may print as a half-card in portrait orientation.

Follow the steps below to correct the card orientation and ensure the back side is rotated correctly before printing.

Step 1: Open Printer Preferences

Open the print options and select “Printer preferences”.

Step 2: Change the Card Orientation

Change the card orientation setting from portrait to “Landscape”.

Step 3: Rotate the Card Back

Go to the “Card Back” settings and check “Rotate 180”. Then click “Apply”, followed by “OK”.

Step 4: Print the Card

Click “Print” to print the card using the updated settings.
