CardExchange - How to insert an Image into card template

This guide explains how to insert an image into a card template using CardExchange Producer. You can add a fixed image, adjust its orientation, and customize its properties to suit your card design.

Step 1: Open Card Designer

  1. Open CardExchange Producer.
  2. Select the card template you want to edit.
  3. Click Card Designer.



Note: Make sure you have selected the correct card template before opening Card Designer. For this guide, a sample template is used.



Step 2: Insert an Image

  1. In Card Designer, go to the Insert tab.
  2. Click Image.


Note: You can change the card orientation to Portrait or Landscape using the orientation settings. The default orientation is Landscape, which is used in this example.


Step 3: Create an Image Placeholder

  1. Click and drag on the card layout to create an image placeholder.
  2. Adjust the placeholder to the desired size and position.



Step 4: Select the Image

After creating the placeholder, the Insert New Object window will appear.

  1. Select Fixed image from the dropdown list.
  2. Click the browse button to open your local directory.
  3. Locate and select the image you want to insert.

The selected image will appear in the card template.






Step 5: Adjust the Image Properties

To customize the image:

  1. Double-click the inserted image to open the Properties window.
  2. Adjust the available settings, such as:
    • Alignment
    • Border
    • Position
    • Other image properties
