How to duplicate PrintanID template to another computer

This article is for PrintanID software only

1. Open the Computer with the New template design and go to C:\inetpub\wwwroot and copy MagicardWeb folder.

            If no MagicardWeb folder inside C:\inetpub\wwwroot. Check C:\WebDir

2. In the second Computer where you want to put the new template design, backup your the data first.

3. After exporting the data, Open IIS (Internet Information Services)

3. Select MagicardWeb and click stop.

4. Restart Computer

5. Go to C:\inetpub\wwwroot and rename MagicardWeb to MagicardWeb - old

             If no MagicardWeb folder inside C:\inetpub\wwwroot. Check C:\WebDir

5. Paste the New MagicardWeb folder with New Template Design.

            If no MagicardWeb folder inside C:\inetpub\wwwroot. Paste the folder to C:\WebDir

6.  Open IIS (Internet Information Services) again and Start the MagicardWeb Service

7. Open PrintanID software and check if the template has been added successfully.

If error occur after this process. You need to uninstall and reinstall PrintanID

All Users will also be duplicated

All existing users will be deleted and will be replaced by the Users of the New Template

You can add the users again by logging in using the admin account from New Template

8. You can now import your old data to the new template.
