Low Frequency RFID

  3. Usually used for Access control system or keyless entry system
  4. Has Unique ID

High Frequency RFID

  1. 13.56MHz
  2. Also known as Smart Cards or NFC Cards
  3. Usually used for Access Control system, Contactless Payment system, Public transportation, Library system, and Pointing Systems.
  4. Has Unique ID
  5. With memory for informations
  6. Can store information inside the card such as, Personal information and Value.
  7. Has password for security.
  8. More secured type of HF Cards has Encryption method.
  9. Up to 5cm reading range

Ultra High Frequency RFID
Go to this link for UHF cards: CCS UHF Stickers
  1. 860 MHz to 960 MHz.
  2. UHF RFID cards offer longer read ranges
  3. Faster data transfer rates compared to LF and HF.
  4. They are well-suited for applications where reading multiple RFID cards simultaneously at a distance is required.
  5. Usually used in Inventory management, supply chain tracking, toll collection systems, vehicle identification, and School System for students.
  6. Up to 30 meters reading range depending on type of tags and reader used
For Philippines, the Frequency range allowed for UHF Readers is 918 - 920 MHz.
Lower or greater than 918 to 920 MHz UHF readers can interfere with telecommunications frequency.
